It’s been a while (as usual). I’m quite impulsive which is reflected in everything I do, including this blogging stuff.
One of the many things I’ve been doing this summer (besides working) has been learning the trade of HDR (or sometimes HDRI) photography, which is what I want to talk about today. HDR stands for High Dynamic Range which in layman’s terms means a photo where more is correctly exposed than it normallycould be. It works by mathematically combining image data from several different exposures and then picking out the colors you want. What it results in are… well astonishing exposures which (in layman’s terms) means quite different pictures. Take a look at the slideshow below to get a feel for it. Happy new year everyone! I’m quite exited to report that this website has had more than 1000 visits in about a month
Thanks to all of you!
I’d like to start this year of blogging by uploading some new stuff to my webgallery, namely a New Year’s Eve special. It’s all flashy, it’s all colors, it’s all frikkin’ mad dude. It’s fireworks! Put on “Fireworks” by Kemopetrol to get into the right mood.
Check it all out here.

I’ve started adding some photos to the gallery (and look how happy my girlfriend Ellinor and her brother Lennart are about it!). This time it’s the “Best of 2003″ album that’s gotten fleshed out quite a bit. I have literally thousands of photos from 2001-2006 but in these Annual albums I only display my personal favourites. Please feel free to leave comments!
I must say the Picasa software from Google is one of the best programs i’ve ever used for managing images. It’s not as feature rich as eg. Photshop Elements but it’s waaaaay faster and much more responsive. I warmly recommend it to anyone with heaps of images that needs some organizing

My webgallery Exposity is going to move in on this website. I?ll probably use the Picasa web gallery platform but I haven?t really decided yet. I may also be hosting them locally like I?ve done in the past. Picasa web gallery is a very fine web2.0 application indeed. If you haven?t already, I suggest you check it out!
