Nobody owns the Net!

I’m not an American - I’m a proud Finnish European. But since we Europeans have a very bad habit of repeating all the really terible mistakes our American “friends” do, I feel I should also join the race for internet neutrality. So everyone, please check out this short propaganda film about why the Internet shouldn’t be owned by gready capitalist a-holes :)

All hail the Net!

Great podcast about the problems of Creationism

The issue of Creationism is one that is getting more and more irritating. These creationists and intelligent designers (IDers) are popping up like wildflower all over the place and I feel something preventive must be done now. Before the minds of our young (and weak old!) are littered with this ID trash.

I won’t go on debating this issue right now but I’m looking forward to writing something more extensive about Intelligent Design vs. Science sometime in the future.

But before I do, check out these podcasts from Guardian Unlimited’s Science Weekly. The debate is covered very well from both sides and one of the main issues is: should Intelligent Design be taught as science?

Photoshop CS3 screenshots

Adobe answers our prayers with the new Photoshop CS3! New interface, better raw control, better B&W conversion and my favorite: smart filters. Man have we been waiting for those! Check out the screenshots over at Photoshopuser
